Участники Голландского Junior Songfestival были разделены на два полуфинала. Национальный финал пройдет 6-го октября.

Через несколько дней после окончания JESC 2011 телеканал AVRO объявил о старте национального отбора на JESC 2012 (Junior Songfestival 2012). Конкурс этого года пройдёт в Нидерландах во второй раз.

Голландские дети, желающие принять участие в Junior Songfestival 2012 должны посетить официальный сайт конкурса и зарегистрироваться. Несколько основных правил конкурса:

Участники сами должны написать свою песню.
Песня должна быть исполнена на Голландском языке.
Человек, написавший песню может быть одиночным исполнителем, или участником группы.
Количество людей в группе не должно превышать 6 человек.
Максимальная продолжительность песни – 2:45.
Возраст участников от 10 до 15 лет.
Все участники должны проживать в Нидерландах или ( и ) иметь Голландское гражданство.

Родители должны разрешить своим детям учавствовать, заполнив специальный документ AVRO.

A few days after the Junior Eurovision 2011, the Netherlands launched their preselection for the tenth Junior Eurovision Song Contest (Junior Songfestival 2012). This edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place, for the second time, in the Netherlands.

All the Dutch children who want take part at Junior Songfestival 2012 must visit the official web site of the contest and send a message or register on-line. There are some rules about the application:

The participants must be the composers of the song despite professional help being allowed.
The songs have to be performed mostly in Dutch language.
The person who writes the song can be the singer, vocalist or a member of the band.
The number of bands’ memebers can’t exceed 6 persons.
The song will be a maximum of 2.45 minutes in duration.
The applicants age must be from 10 to 15 years according to the EBU rules.
All participants must live in The Netherlands or have Dutch nationality.

Parents must allow the children to participate, and therefore, AVRO has published a special document for the parents to complete.

Another chance to take part in the Junior Songfestival preselection is by the on-line competition, where all participants can win a place to the first audition of the contest. All who want to participation via the online competition must upload a video singing their performance. Viewers will be able to vote each video from 1 to 5 stars.
